TEAMS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SURPRISE SNOW FALL IN ARENDAL!
Saturday, 19 July, ARENDAL (Norway): Teams took advantage of a ‘surprise’ fall of snow in Arendal today and showed off their alpine skills in the BMW Norwegian Grand Prix - Ski Jumping Competition.

Two representatives from each team, the event and championship organisers - NGP and IOTA - were joined by celebrity guests including Norwegian Skiing legends and World and Olympic Champions, Kjetil Andre Aarmodt and Aksel Lund Svindal.

With judges awarding points for the length of the jump and style, it was the International Offshore Team Association’s (IOTA) two young ski stars, Marco Sesana and Marco Zaninoni, with guest skier, event organiser, Per Carsten Michelsen, who took first place. A very impressive performance by Gianfranco Venturelli helped team members, Roberto Alzini and Sondre Haland secure second place for the Victory Team, with Kjetil and Kjell Forsetlund grabbing third place for the event organisers, NGP.

Weather forecasters are not predicting snow for Sunday’s BMW Norwegian Grand Prix!
